This week has been a LONG one. It seems like everyday was a back to back knock down, dragged out battle royal between me and the world but I finally made it to the weekend. And it's truly what I live for: dragging myself out of bed, getting glammed up and going into the city.

The weather lately has been super bipolar! Like, it's been extremely hot, then cold, then sunny then rainy all in this same week. I was just happy it let up enough for me to be able to enjoy my Saturday. I popped into Austin with my son and his aunt Scherelle to get a few things done and unwind. I wanted to be functional, yet chic. I paired this Shein striped mocked turtle neck with some shorts I picked up from Maurice's a few years ago. I accented this look with an oxblood Alessandro Mari purse and these Miss Lola strappy heels.

So we all know I live for food right?! We stopped in at The Grove Wine Bar & Kitchen and lemme tell you, the food was lit. Like, I really enjoyed it. I had the eggs benedict with an order of the Pad Thai kelp noodles to go (not pictured). Scherelle ordered the Ora King salmon, served with coconut-ginger rice and farm veggies. For the table, the fried gulf oysters with mango poblano pico was top tier! Like, I'm drooling thinking about it and I literally ate this yesterday.

How did you spend your Mother's Day weekend?
I hope, surrounded by love.
xo,
Glen
